This program prepares candidates for the written and oral components of the Capstone Assessment, the professional exam required for registration as a Registered Migration Agent.

  • Exam structure and strategy for written and oral components
  • Methods for preparing for both exam parts, including ethics and compliance under the OMARA Code of Conduct and Occupational Competency Standards
  • Scenario-based legal problem solving using the MIRAT methodology and framework
  • Legislative interpretation and referencing using the Migration Act 1958, Migration Regulations 1994 and legislative instruments
  • Time and resource management under exam conditions, including effective use of LegendCOM
  • Ethical and professional communication aligned with the Code of Conduct and Occupational Competency Standards
